Privacy Notice

Last updated: July 2026

This notice describes how Truck & SUV Parts Warehouse, doing business as 831 Trucks, handles information submitted through this website. It is provided for general information only and is not legal advice.

Information we collect

When you submit our quote form we receive the information you provide: name, phone number, email, vehicle details, service interest, project description, preferred contact method and any optional notes. We may also collect standard web analytics data such as pages visited, referrer and device type.

How we use it

We use submitted information only to respond to your inquiry, provide a quote and follow up on service. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookie categories

Our cookie banner lets you choose which categories to allow. The categories below exactly match the options in that banner, and each one only loads when the condition described is met. You can change your choice at any time by clearing site data in your browser to bring the banner back.

Necessary
Required for the site to function. These include the local storage entry that remembers your cookie choice so the banner doesn't reappear on every page. Loaded on every visit and cannot be turned off.
Analytics
Google Analytics (gtag.js) to measure aggregate site usage such as pages viewed and referrer. Loaded only after you select "Accept all" or enable Analytics under "Manage preferences." If you later withdraw consent, analytics tracking is disabled and the related cookies (_ga, _ga_*, _gid,_gat) are cleared from your browser.

Embedded content and links

Pages on this site may include embedded maps and links to external profiles such as Google and Yelp. Those services have their own privacy practices.

Retention

We retain quote submissions only as long as needed to service the request and for reasonable follow-up.

Contact for privacy requests

Email info@831trucks.com or call (831) 630-5730.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "CCPA/CPRA"), gives you the rights below. To exercise any of them, email info@831trucks.com or call (831) 630-5730 with the subject "California Privacy Request." We will verify your request using information already in our records (such as name, phone, and vehicle details) and respond within 45 days. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Categories of personal information we collect

In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information, as defined by the CCPA/CPRA: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address); customer records (contact and vehicle information you submit); commercial information (services requested and work performed); internet or network activity (site pages viewed, referrer, device type); and geolocation only at the approximate city level from IP address. We collect this information directly from you and from standard web-server and analytics logs. We use it for the purposes described above under "How we use it." We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA.

Sale and sharing of personal information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA. We therefore do not offer a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link because there is nothing to opt out of. Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals are respected as an opt-out of sale and sharing if this ever changes.

Rights you can exercise

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used; the right to request a copy of that information; the right to correct inaccurate personal information; the right to delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions such as completing a transaction or maintaining service records required by the Automotive Repair Act; and the right to limit use of sensitive personal information (not applicable here because we do not collect it).

California "Shine the Light"

California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits California residents to request information regarding disclosure of personal information to third parties for those parties' direct-marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.

Do Not Track

Our site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because there is no common industry standard for compliance. GPC is honored as noted above.

Children's privacy

The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
